Safeguard the May Day Holiday! Genertec Meheco Holds Pre-holiday Safety Inspections and Emergency Drills

To thoroughly put into practice General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on workplace safety and Generatec's plans for workplace safety before the May Day holiday, following the requirements stated in the Risk Warning Letter from State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Emergency Notice on Flood Control and Disaster Relief and the Notice on Safety Inspections Before the May Day Holiday and Safety Management During the May Day Holiday of Generatec, and other documents, Generatec Meheco organized all units to comprehensively carry out pre-holiday safety inspections and emergency drills, to ensure workplace safety and consolidate the foundation for a safe holiday.

On April 30, Li Yadong, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of Generatec Meheco, Wang Xiao, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice Chairman of Generatec Meheco, and Hu Huidong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and General Manager of Generatec Meheco, respectively led a team to carry out safety inspections on Beijing Branch of Genertec Meheco, China National Instruments Import & Export Group Corporation, and China Meheco Great Wall Pharma Co., Ltd. in the manner of "not issuing written notifications, not reminding the local government, not receiving any report, and not being accompanied by local officials, but directly inspecting the localities and spots". Before the holiday, all units carried out safety inspections in a vigorous and orderly manner. They systematically checked power distribution rooms, warehouses, workshops, laboratories, and other places. Some key units conducted emergency drills responding to hazardous chemical leakage and elevator accidents. The problems found were immediately rectified to effectively prevent and resolve risks and hidden dangers and ensure a safe holiday.
